With his carefully cultivated beard, he may not seem like your typical Dreadnought devotee.

But Dressed to Ill blogger Robert Mangano is proof that any self respecting man can benefit from a good tidy up around the edges.

Robert has recently been trialing our cut-throat shavette/straight razor, as well as the iconic Spartan safety razor, and it’s safe to say that he is suitably impressed.

“I do have a thick beard”, he admits.

“But as most men with facial hair can attest, even the grizzliest of grins needs a sharp blade to keep the neck and upper cheek clean.”

Robert, who always looks well groomed and is known for his sharp dressing, is quite the fan of the traditional wet shave.

He explains:

” You don’t need a vibrating razor with 18 blades to get a clean shave. One sharp blade makes all the difference.

” Barbers use, and will always use, a single blade to get a close shave. If the experts use it, so should you!

“Whether the safety blade or the straight edge is your weapon of choice, Dreadnought has you covered,”
he says.

We’re certainly not going to disagree with him on that one.

Be sure to pop over and check out Robert’s blog – and if you haven’t already, you can check out Dreadnought’s selection of razors here.
