Aftershock Motorsports

Dreadnought is delighted to be teaming up with Aftershock Motorsports to sponsor their lead driver Joe Scarbrough for the 2012/2013 NASCAR season.

Created in 2007, Aftershock Motorsports ran the #30 Modified car at NASCAR sanctioned Langley Speedway in Hampton, Virginia. In 2012, Aftershock Motorsports is moving up in the ranks to the NASCAR Southern Whelen Modified Tour, a mid-Atlantic regional touring tier of the upper NASCAR racing ranks.

Scarbrough brings over 30 years of experience behind the wheel with countless wins and top 10 finishes throughout his career. As a team, Aftershock Motorsports believes that the key ingredients required to win are as follows: Passion, Competitiveness, Sportsmanship, Dedication, Experience, Teamwork and Family.

Aftershock Motorsports has had an unprecedented record of 28 wins and over 80 top 5 finishes in five racing seasons since the teams’ inception. These results are a true testament to our professionalism and ability to rise to any challenge. In 2007, Aftershock Motorsports was second in points at Langley Speedway and Scarbrough received Rookie of the Year. In 2008, the Team achieved what many dream of….. CHAMPION! In 2008, the Team took to its credit five (5) wins with the Rolling Thunder Modified Tour Series in only six (6) appearances. In 2009, the Team took the checkered flag at South Boston Speedway in one of the biggest races of any modified division in the country, as well as finishing third in points at Langley Speedway. In 2010, Scarbrough crushed the competition with another Championship season with the Rolling Thunder Modifieds.

Sporting his fathers famed #37, Scarbrough looks to duplicate the success he and the rest of Aftershock Motorsports found in the IMCA-Type modifieds and become a force to be reckoned with in the arena of tour-type modified racing!
